Ground Cover Film
Co-extruded film with high mechanical properties laid on the total ground superficies covered by the greenhouse and/or Glasshouse structure, or in open field application, with up to 14-meter film width.
By covering the total cultivating area, it creates good isolation, limiting possible contamination by soil-borne diseases from a greenhouse to another through the foot traffic.
The bi-color version provides high sunlight reflection promoting better photosynthesis activity of the plants, withstands its expected lifetime, and resists foot traffic.
Also known as ground cover plastic, ground plastic film, and reflective film.
Black Ground Cover Film
Black ground covers is a Polyethylene film manufactured in co-extrusion technology.
It constitutes an opaque layer that blocks the light transmission through the film.
The black color plays a role of natural heater by retaining maximum sunrays received during the day and transmitting it to the soil or to the upper area, to increase the ambient temperature and provide an optimized environment for the best plant growth.
Benefits
Applications
Recommended in countries with short day light hours
- Hydroponic/soilless cultivation
- High foliage crops
- Fruits, flowers & vegetables
Properties
White Black Ground Cover Film
White Black Ground Covers is a Polyethylene film Manufactured in co-extrusion technology.
The upper white color layer reflects the sunrays received during the day, while the lower black side constitutes an opaque layer that blocks the light transmission through the film.
This combination of features orients the total plant parts development in an optimized environment.
Benefits
NB: Silver layer option replacing the white layer is available when the application needed to repels harmful insects.
Applications

- Hydroponic/soilless cultivation
- High foliage crops
- Fruits, flowers & vegetables
